XY-27 drilling fluid additive is a special water-soluble polymer material containing both cationic and anionic functional groups in its molecular chain. It is a white or light yellow powder. XY-27 exhibits excellent temperature resistance, salt resistance, and resistance to calcium and magnesium contamination in drilling fluids. Through ion adsorption and hydration layer effects, it significantly reduces the viscosity of high-density drilling mud and controls filtration loss. It is compatible with various types of drilling fluids and treatment agents, making it an ideal viscosity reducer for inhibitory drilling fluids.

Application

XY-27 amphoteric polymer thinner is mainly used in oil drilling to adjust the rheological properties of drilling fluids, reduce the viscosity of drilling fluids under high temperature and pressure, and also has anti-calcium and magnesium salt contamination and high temperature resistance properties. XY-27 effectively disperses clay particles and inhibits shale dispersion through the cationic and anionic functional groups on its molecular chain, ensuring the stability of drilling fluid performance and thus improving drilling efficiency.

Performance

The specific functions of polymer viscosity reducer XY-27 in natural gas and oil drilling are as follows:

  1. Highly efficient viscosity reduction and rheological stabilization: XY-27 amphoteric polymer thinner can significantly reduce the high viscosity caused by clay and weighting materials, ensuring good fluidity of the drilling fluid, reducing pump pressure, and optimizing drilling rheological characteristics.
  2. Resistance to salt and calcium contamination: The amphoteric groups in its molecular structure enable it to maintain extremely high viscosity regulation capabilities even in high-temperature, high-salt, and high-calcium-magnesium ion environments, making it less prone to flocculation failure.
  3. High-temperature inhibition and protection: Zwitterionic polymer viscosity reducer XY-27 has good high-temperature resistance (high-temperature viscosity reducer), maintaining stable performance under high-temperature conditions in deep or ultra-deep wells, while also inhibiting shale dispersion to a certain extent and preventing wellbore collapse.

Packaging & Shipping

Packaging: Packaging is provided in 25kg three-in-one kraft paper bags or paper-plastic composite bags. Custom packaging is also available upon request.

Storage and Transportation: When storing, take precautions against heat and moisture, and the stacking layer should not exceed 20 layers. The ideal storage temperature is 15℃ to 30℃. Dry powder should be kept 20cm off the ground and 20cm away from walls, and stacked no more than 10 layers high.
