Description

Lignite resin is a dark brown, high-temperature and salt-resistant filtration control agent. It is a polymer grafted from pre-modified activated humic acid with phenol, formaldehyde, and propylene-based polymers. SPNH is readily soluble in water, and its aqueous solution is weakly alkaline.

Application

Lignite resin SPNH is a key high-temperature, high-pressure fluid loss reducer and emulsifier in natural gas and oil drilling, commonly used in deep wells and complex formations.It effectively reduces drilling fluid loss, inhibits hydration and swelling of shale, improves drilling fluid stability and resistance to salt and calcium contamination, and can seal micro-fractures to protect oil and gas reservoirs.

Performance

Lignite resin for drilling fluids is a commonly used treatment agent in drilling engineering, with the following specific functions:

  1. Reduced filtration loss: SPNH effectively reduces the amount of drilling fluid lost to the formation, forming a thin, tough, and dense filter cake, reducing API and high-temperature/high-pressure(HTHP) filtration loss, and protecting the wellbore.
  2. Stabilized drilling fluid properties: SPNH filtrate loss reducer helps regulate the rheological properties of drilling fluids, maintaining suitable viscosity, shear stress, and other parameters under different drilling conditions, ensuring the suspension and carrying capacity of the drilling fluid.
  3. Resistance to high temperature, salt, and contamination: SPNH can still stabilize drilling fluid properties in complex downhole environments with high temperature, high salinity, and the presence of other contaminants.
  4. Inhibition of formation hydration swelling: SPNH can reduce hydration swelling and dispersion in formations such as shale, reducing the risk of wellbore collapse.
  5. Good compatibility: Lignite resin copolymer has good compatibility and low cost; it can be freely compounded with PAC, sulfonated polymers, xanthan gum, lubricants, etc., allowing for flexible dosage and low cost.

Packaging & Shipping

Packaging: Packaged in 25kg three-in-one kraft paper bags or paper-plastic composite bags. Custom packaging is also available upon request.

Storage and Transportation: When storing, take precautions against heat and moisture, and the stacking layer should not exceed 20 layers. The ideal storage temperature is 15℃ to 30℃.

Shelf Life: 24 months
