Description

This filtration control agents for drilling fluid KFT is a synthetic polymer, a dark brown powder, easily soluble in water, and a novel type of highly efficient fluid loss reducing agent. It can withstand temperatures above 150°C and maintains excellent fluid loss reduction performance even in high-salt environments, making it suitable for well sections from 800 to 5000 meters. Furthermore, this high-temperature and salt-resistant fluid loss control also possesses strong coating and inhibition effects, and is widely used in both onshore and offshore drilling.

Application

KFT High-temperature and salt-resistant fluid loss additive is key additives for drilling deep, ultra-deep, and complex salt-gypsum formations. Through mechanisms such as protecting the colloid, increasing viscosity, and sealing micro-fractures, they maintain drilling fluid stability in high-temperature and high-salt environments, effectively reducing fluid loss and playing a role in stabilizing the wellbore, preventing lost circulation and well collapse, protecting oil and gas reservoirs, and improving drilling efficiency.

Performance

The specific functions of KFT high-temperature and salt-resistant filtration reduction in natural gas and oil drilling include:

  1. Maintaining drilling fluid performance under high-temperature and high-salt conditions: In high-temperature and high-salt environments, KFT can maintain the viscosity of drilling fluids, preventing performance degradation caused by changes in temperature and salinity. Simultaneously, they can reduce the filtration loss rate of drilling fluids and improve their rock-carrying capacity.
  2. Reducing filtration loss and protecting the reservoir: The long-chain molecules of filtration loss reducers can fill and block the capillary pores in the mud cake, forming a dense, thin, and tough filter cake, reducing the amount of fluid entering the formation and thus reducing damage to oil and gas reservoirs.
  3. Stabilizing the wellbore: This filtrate loss controller can reduce well collapse, lost circulation, and other accidents caused by formation water absorption and expansion or erosion, ensuring drilling operation safety.

Packaging & Shipping

Packaging: Packaging is provided in 25kg three-in-one kraft paper bags or paper-plastic composite bags. Custom packaging is also available upon request.

Storage and Transportation: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place, protected from moisture, direct sunlight, and heavy pressure; dry powder should be kept 20cm off the ground and 20cm away from walls, and stacked no more than 10 layers high.
